Description

The National Proof House is a specialized laboratory accredited to European standards for the testing and certification of firearms and ammunition. It provides the technical infrastructure required for the verification of ballistics safety, material integrity, and regulatory compliance of ordnance.

Testing

Firing trials in tunnels and ranges (15m to 300m)
Ballistic testing for projectiles (.22 LR to 25x137 mm) at speeds up to 1,800 m/s
High-speed imaging (up to 775,000 fps) and Doppler radar velocity measurement
Projectile obliquity analysis via orthogonal photography
Environmental conditioning (-70°C to 300°C; 10% to 98% RH)
Impact attenuation and bladed weapon energy testing (5.30m drop device)
