The KU research vessel provides the opportunity to conduct comprehensive seabed, geophysical, hydrological and ecological studies. Using modern equipment, it is possible to determine the structure of the seabed, magnetic anomalies, conduct sampling, depth and current measurements, water quality assessment and biodiversity analysis. This vessel is useful for the military to understand the underwater environment, identify potential threats (e.g. explosives), monitor infrastructure and plan operations at sea. These studies contribute to strengthening security, increasing resilience and justifying defense decisions.
