Short description of the R&D service

Application of artificial intelligence and big data.

Possible research areas

This thematic area examines both traditional artificial intelligence methods and approaches based on deep neural networks. At the theoretical level, it addresses the symbol–signal gap problem, first identified at the dawn of artificial intelligence, which has now re-emerged as a highly relevant issue in robotics, particularly in the pursuit of generalization of robot perception and actions. The application domains include robotics, medicine, and biosynthesis. Artificial intelligence research is closely intertwined with language technologies, which are described further below, and extensively relies on artificial intelligence methods.
